Description
The Florida Panthers celebrated their 20th anniversary in 2013-14 by wearing a commemorative patch throughout the season. The team had a second reason to celebrate that year with the debut of their young and exciting rookie, Aleksander Barkov. Barkov played in 54 games in 13-14, recording 8 goals and 16 assists. Despite his season being cut short due to injury, the Panthers knew they'd drafted one of the league's most promising young forwards, who went on to become team captain and one of the best defensive forwards in the NHL.
